Story

richard, kirsten and their family welcome you to the jervis arms…

a friendly village free house pub, serving good food and cask ales in friendly surrounds on the banks of the river hamps in onecote.

So, Richard and I fell in love with the idea of owning a village pub. We picked up the keys in mid March knowing there was some work to be done. Honestly, there was so much more to do than we had ever imagined and so the fun began!

The pub has been a big restoration project and we have been very fortunate to work with some amazing people, some who have been with us from the very beginning: Ravenwood Joinery, M.R Decorating, MRH Fabrications, John Worth Plumbing, Chris Gibson (stonework) and James (electrician).

A special mention also to the residents of Onecote and the surrounding local community who have been so supportive and encouraging throughout this process.

We finally opened our doors on Wednesday 12th July 2024 and have been overwhelmed by the kind comments and positive feedback.

Please browse our site, look at our pictures and feel free to get in touch, we hope to see you very soon!
